If you are a Barrister, or a professional firm of Accountants, Solicitors or letting Agents and do not have the expertise to handle a tax situation which has arisen on one of your clients then you are welcome to contact me through the e-mail link at the foot of this page.
I have experience in most forms of taxation at Managerial level, including Ex-patriate workers, Capital Gains tax, complex Personal (Income) tax issues, especially IR35, employment contracts, and the operation of the WT Ramsay case in Personal and Capital Gains tax situations.
I ensure that my knowledge is current on all personal taxation issues, thereby enabling me to attend to complex professional partnerships, entertainers, Lloyd's underwriters, foreign nationals, ex-pats, barristers, solicitors, doctors, dentists, IT contractors, teachers, et. al.
Unless I have direct contact with the client, I cannot, however, accept any liability for actions taken by your firm, or your client. You will, however, be provided with all relevant Statutory references, including references to appropriate case law and professional articles in order to support the advice given. Alternatively I can advise your client directly on a stand-alone basis, in which case my Professional Indemnity insurers will accept liability.
In the first instance please contact me by e-mail outlining the nature of the client and the situation, plus the name and address of your firm, the name of the partner responsible and his qualifications.
